Movement to Triage -Cold Zone Operations

Course objectives include, reassessment of all interventions, providing appropriate fluid therapy as needed for resuscitation, utilizing triage system and collaboration with advanced medical personnel for appropriate care level. This program will further interrogate hypothermia prevention techniques,  A major component of this program is communication establishment. Oftentimes tactical and non tactical teams are unable to communicate or communicate ineffectively in this phase of the operation. Lastly, due to the dynamic nature of these hostile events, situational awareness for the non tactical provider is key. There are no threat free areas of work for medical teams.
