The Fundamentals of TECC for the LE First Responder

This course includes training and practical evolutions with a focus on establishment of tactical supremacy and
threat mitigation, tourniquet application and bleeding control in the direct threat environment, and transitioning
between direct threat care and indirect threat care after tactical supremacy has been achieved and maintained.
Additionally, the program will cover the MARCH assessment, and life saving intervention including Hemorrhage
control and victim positioning. Skills stations will use training aids to simulate bleeding with a realistic approach
resulting in time reduction and more confident tourniquet application. This course includes the official “Stop the
Bleed” certificate.
