  • Wilderness First Responder Recertification is a 2-3 day, scenario-based recertification course providing industry-standard review of wilderness medical updates, protocols, skills, and curriculum for the certified Wilderness First Responder. Didactic lessons, case-review, and high-fidelity simulation provide the knowledge and skill review necessary to remain an effective provider in a wilderness or an austere medical emergency. Graduates receive recertification as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider (AHA BLS®). (18 hours)

  • Optionally, graduates may recertify American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (AHA PEARS®) following the conclusion of the course.
